El grupo nace en 2018 como «Rusty Strings and the beardy beat» con el objetivo de hacer versiones macarras y cañeras de clásicos del rock y el heavy.
En 2022 nos rebautizamos como MONOGORDO, presentando temas de composición propia, no con la mejor técnica, pero con la mezcla exacta de volumen, distorsión y velocidad para obtener un sonido propio inconfundible.
